Using the U132 Card Reader in LINUX
U132 External Kernel Modules
This latest version of the linux U132 driver needs to be built from the source tar ball so that the modules created will match your current kernel.
You will need at least part of the kernel source tree that matches your current kernel, installed, and of course various compiler tools.
Distributions Supported
It should support any distribution based on linux kernels 2.6.15+ that allows you to compile kernel modules.
Installation Instructions
Just do:
cd [any working directory anywhere on your system that has enough space]
wget http://www.elandigitalsystems.com/eng/drivers/u132/u132-linux-driver.tar.gz
cd u132-driver-1.4
make
make install
The modules have been tested against kernels 2.6.15 to 2.6.20
