U111-530/630 Frequently Asked Questions
Installation Instructions
To install the U111 put the supplied CD-ROM into your CD drive and plug the U111 into a free USB slot. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
We have some step-by-step guides with screenshots to help guide you through the installation process :
- Novatel Wireless Merlin U530 on Windows 2000
- Novatel Wireless Merlin U530 on Windows XP
- Sierra Wireless Aircard 850 on Windows XP
- Sierra Wireless Aircard 850 on Windows XP (Classic View)
If you do not have the CD-ROM disc that came with your U111 (and contains the drivers) you will need to download the drivers now. The installation process is much the same, but you will need to unzip the drivers into a folder on your computer.
The screen on your PC might not look exactly the same as on our screen-shots - this can happen if your setup is slightly different to our test PC. Installing with different Aircard models is very similar to installing with an 850. Installing a Merlin U630 is very similar to installing with a Merlin U530.
